CP3 has made a quarter of a billion dollars over his nba career just from his contracts. What difference will an extra 44 million make to the life of someone that has made that much money? Why not pursue the ultimate prize that has alluded him his entire career?

Nobody in this world is walking away from 44 million he could be a bench player and try to get a ring later and if it doesn't work out he could just look at his bank account that will make him smile. If anybody says different they are lying.

At the end of the day, your kids are going to care more that you were able to send them to college than that you have a ring in a display case. Keep your money. Despite what Shaq thinks, there is more to an NBA career than getting a ring. Patrick McCaw has 3 rings from the warriors and raptors, does anyone think he deserves more esteem than a chris paul or damian lillard with no rings? Pretty sure McCaw would gladly give those rings back in exchange for a $44m contract.

If I’m chris paul I notice that my career is at the end and if I want to really be remembered then I’m gonna turn down big money to play on good teams that need a better PG. Like the lakes. People will remember you by how many rings you have but not by how many millions you made.

Celtics beating the Lakers is nothing it's one game they won't face each other that much or in the playoffs until the finals if that's happens. it was an impressive win they played great and shot good from three but to me ur doesn't say much about either team AD just got back and the C's have lots at offensive weapons
