There was a time when Aston Martin meant Bond films, silver coupes, naturally aspirated high displacement engines, and distinct elegant styling. Since then Aston Martin has changed hands quite a few times, and now they're... Well... Different.

So, Ford helped design the signature styling for Aston, and then they had the guts to use that styling they developed on the other cars they owned. And after the breakup indirectly forced Aston to be a better car manufacturer. Those bastards!

Up until they partnered with AMG , Aston Martin's V12 was made out of 2 Ford V6 engines from the Tempo / Ranger .

Aston cars were iconic heavy cars that cornered horribly but loved by boomers that idolized a certain man in a series of movies, somewhat like the heavy trigger pull lousy sited walther ppk he carried.
Not a Ford fan but I'd take a ford over a Aston because you could find a practical vehicle in their line up.

I hope that someone does something similar to Alfa Romeo bcs they deserve more treatment than FIAT is giving them and in F1 they would benefit a lot from someone like Lawrence Stroll

In 2013 I was working at one of the mid-range hotels at Walt Disney World and saw what I thought was an unmistakable grill pulling into the parking lot. I nudged my colleague and said ‘Man, why would someone with a car like that be staying here?’ To which he looked very confused.
Cue me going red a few seconds later as I spotted the Ford badge and four doors. At least I can argue that there weren’t that many of them about at the time :P

I remember this period in automotive world. Ford and volvo engineers were bickering about how thick frame beams had to be in the roof and pillars.

That Ford Mondeo/ Fusion radiator design pinched from Aston Martin, wasn't the first time Ford 'borrowed' a design element. The Ford Sierra's rear window/C-pillar design was 'inspired' by the Porshe 944's rear window/C-pillar.

hold up, you are comparing a Aston Martin to a Lambo???? really???? about the only thing the same is the amount of cylinders... two completely different car markets.
Hands down Id take a lambo over a Aston Martin, but as a daily driver or a work car.... hell no.

Lets make up nonsense drama about imaginary things to cover up our original parasitic mess.
