Brexit deal is now ‘essentially impossible’, says Downing Street source

  • Tonight, the chances of a Brexit deal appear to be slim or none. (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Or at least, that seems to be the message from a “frank” phone call between Boris Johnson and Angela Merkel. According to an unnamed Number 10 source, the German chancellor said that a deal without Northern Ireland inside the customs union was “overwhelmingly unlikely”. Whether or not this is what she said, it provoked fury from the European Council president Donald Tusk who accused Boris Johnson of playing “a stupid blame game” when so much was at stake.

Labour is the one that keeps blaming everyone else while telling everyone that they want a solution. They voted against no deal, an election, no confidence motions, and they were for Brexit and now they're against Brexit. So who's the one confusing things and just making things up.

Initially as one of the founder member they Brits vote to be in.
Then all along for decades they are 1 leg in and one out.
Then they vote again to go out.
Then again they are not happy with neither of the position and want to vote again.
    EU gives a dead line.
The dead line is again extended, yet again they are undecided.
    Holy cow!

When Brexiters can justify Brexit in grown up terms, like cost and benefit, there will be no Remainers. No one will oppose a good idea.
Brexiters angry with Remainers should think more clearly and speak more persuasively than it's their habit to do.

The referendum was in 1975. Brexiters/ Europhobes/ OUTs demanded it, took part in it, lost it, and ever since has sought to undo it. As yet unsuccessfully.
If 1975 is not binding on the country, and 26 million votes are worthless, then 2016 is not binding either, and another 33 million votes are worthless as well.
That leaves us with the original sovereign Parliamentary decision of 1972; entry via the European Communities Act.

What's going to happen to Germany & the EU when Angela Merkel leaves. She is part of the problem why there is a no deal with Brexit. I think Germany should leave the EU. BUT Oct. 31st / Nov.1st will tell us all what the future of the UK. There is also a matter of how Wall Street will answer to the EU refuses to grant the UK a Brexit deal. That scares me just as much as Brexit as well as Remain.

Brexit means total destruction of democracy as well as the economy.Britain will become like a poor Russia and if it happens you only have yourselves to blame with your stupid attitude" my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge".
Trade deals with the rest of the world will be on their terms with Britain ,forcing Britain to take whatever it can get.

Sounds like the best solution likely now is to quarantine UK from the EU with the current government. I’m positive the future generations in UK will get us back into the EU again in the near future within their lifetime. The EU MUST get rid of toxic Brexit party sitting in the EU.
