Audi is claiming 25 miles per 1l but actually does 12 miles and blames it on bad fuel.

It is real... Also Fiat 1,9JTD engine pretty much the same, Like ~4l/100km on the freeway doing ~100km/h
The real world consumption is higher due to the air conditioner running on (~easy additional 1l for 100km), also traffic and even weather condition air temperature, moisture levels etc.. But it never gets higher than 6,5l/100km with this engine, actually you can drive like a madman and you wont get higher than 6,5 or 7ltr...
These cars are very economical and all the diesel haters can go and kill themselves.. You cant beat this with electric cars...

if youve drained ALL of the fuel out it wont start because it needs fuel pressure to keep running so technically there is always fuel in the tank, also running a diesel engine completely out of fuel is an extremely bad idea, the diesel acts as a lubricant inside the diesel injection system, running it dry is like running an engine out of oil, a lot of friction and a lot of heat and excess wear

Skoda people are all the time Czech car not everything in it from Germany gearboxes are assembled and produced in the Czech Republic glass, upholstery, lights and so on all this is assembled and produced in the Czech Republic so the engines are German and Czech does not mean that when Skoda is part of the VW concern that it is a German car. Seats are also made and sew with us Czech is enough developing country if we wanted to be a pity to stop being a VW concern. Every Škoda model is designed in the Czech Republic and is also produced in the Czech Republic VW just provides us with engines and a few other things.Skoda already has several factories around the world in Germany, India, Slovakia in short and simply Skoda is still Czech car.😉

How about modifying Miles to be even more fuel efficient?

  • AstoundingPilot -SW-

I don't believe this car runs at 5p per mile. I have a VW polo 1.4 petrol that runs averages 15p per mile. Yeah you'd expect diesel to be more efficient but not 3X more efficient
